Our Story

Moda Kitchens is a family-run kitchen design studio founded by a mother and daughter who believe in thoughtful design. After years of creating kitchens for local homes, we set out to build something more personal, a design studio grounded in care, creativity and genuine relationships.

Based in Saffron Walden, we work with homeowners across the town and surrounding villages, designing kitchens that feel considered, practical and beautifully in tune with everyday life. From period properties to contemporary homes, every space is carefully planned around how you live, balancing modern style with lasting quality.

For us, the kitchen is the heart of the home. It’s where family gathers, where friends linger, where daily routines unfold. Our role is to guide you through the process with honesty and expertise, helping you make confident decisions about layout, materials and finishes. Our Showroom

Our Saffron Walden showroom is designed to feel like a working design studio rather than a retail space. Here you’ll find a curated selection of kitchen displays, along with full-size samples from the Masterclass Kitchens collection.

Alongside cabinetry, you can explore a wide range of worktops, taps, sinks and finishing details, allowing you to see and feel the materials that bring a kitchen together. It’s a space to gather ideas, compare finishes and discuss what’s possible for your project.

Design and Installation

Every Moda kitchen begins with a conversation. Using your room dimensions and initial brief, our designers create a considered scheme tailored to your chosen range, lifestyle and budget.

We provide detailed drawings and realistic visualisations so you can clearly see how your kitchen will look and function, refining layouts and materials before your order is placed. A home survey can then be arranged to confirm measurements and services, ensuring complete accuracy. We’re also experienced in working from architectural plans and alongside builders on renovation or new-build projects.

If required, we can recommend trusted local fitters, with deliveries made directly from the factory to site. From concept to completion, we aim to make the process straightforward, collaborative and carefully managed.
